Follow the program. It's the same principle as any other body part. Increased strength = more volume at higher weight which equals hypertrophy.

Follow the program, but on day 3 and day 5 I usually just do a set of db presses or bench just 3-5 sets for hypertrophy and then do what ever I'm meant to do. I've found that really helps
