Wooo, on to thread Number three

Planning on continuing my PHAT routine. Been slackin' a bit on my diet lately. Funds have been tight, so I haven't been able to eat as much as I would like.

Still sitting at 210. Planning on bulking for a few more months, probably till April, and cut up for the summer.. All depending on how fat I get. Maybe hit 220lbs.. We shall see!

No pics atm, but Legs are up to 27" at the base of my glutes, and my knees are... I think 16.5".. @Duke, save me if you remember differently.. (ya, thats right, he measuered meh legs.)

Other than that.. Tryin' to bring up my chest a bit. calves are always too small.. and maybe get my arms up.. we'll see =)

Oh.. Im going to get a 600lb Deadlift up before this thread is done too.. Just sayin, Thats my Goal. I Barely Missed 585, and I've been catering to a thigh injury... So Get Ready.

In for this, you're basically my main motivation on this forum as you're a similar height and have the same sort of build (not including the fact you probably have 25lbs of muscle on me but still, lol)

Thanks man, Truly Means A ton! hearing that I motivate people helps me kill it in the gym, and to focus on my diet. etc...

You already have one hell of a physique, you're going to surpass me when you're my age haha.

Alright. So, last night I went to the gym with a friend from High school. He's going to attempt to keep up with me for awhile... Poor guy, has no idea whats comin'

He's Def overweight, his BF% is probably 20%.. He carries it all on his stomach, and has never really worked out hard before. So I'm going to be training him and giving him some diet advice etc... he's gonna be my guinea pig. lol

So last night was Chest and back.

I did speed work a little lighter this week. Did 275, with a pause on the bottom, and just more of an overall powerlifter style. Tucked elbows, pause, etc.. and it actually felt quite good. I'm going to try to keep my ego in check and continue doing it this way.

Then I did Reps of 12-15, two sets with 225, then the last set was 245, nice and slow, really focusing on contraction, no bounce, just a smooth press. which felt epic.

then did some hammer strength, and cable flyes.. By this time my Partner, Dan, was asking if we were about done for the night.. haha I replied "yea man, we're about done... with chest. lol"

Then I did some BBRows, with 225, just focusing on the contraction again, did sets of 15, with 225.. then a couple other exercises for the back. woooo

anyways, we shall see how this workout partner thing works out. He says he wants to lose his belly, and is laid off for the next 12 weeks or so. and he didn't complain too much about the workout in all honesty, he's just lost when it comes to the gym. Which is fine, I'm def willing to help him out.

So don't worry, The gains will still be comin'! Woooooooooo

Lol, if it helps, I used wraps, and my last set was 225 for 18 reps.

Haha, yes I do! I actually used wraps yesterday for rows, and placed my thumbs where you said too. I definitely felt it more in my back! Woo!!

I have squats tonight, I'm a little nervous tbh!

Pressing and Pulling didn't hurt at all last night, So it is certainly the Squats.

But if its too painful, I"ll just do front squats till its healed. lol.
