Hey,

I want to create a new log to compliment my new journal. My journal is going to consist of my workouts, diet, and emotional state. I'm hoping it will teach me more about myself. There is always room for improvement.

I will probably be asking for opinions and advice throughout this log. Look out for question marks if you can. I am going to be very open to opinions that are politely worded.

With that being said, this week is the start of the journal and my Westside for Skinny Bastards type workout routine. Please let me know what you would alter for the future. Today was a rushed workout because I had to work front desk at the gym. Will be doing 30min of cardio shortly. My workouts might just be pictures from my journal. This will help hold me accountable. In the past I have never been consistent in keeping a journal.

Man your logs remind me of being back in school In a nice way. I'd do the same, if it wasn't because my handwriting is so shameful.

The numbers 1-3, do they show paired exercises you superset together or?

I know @hamb0. Header always in upper right hand corner. Old habits are sometimes hard to break!

That's what the numbers mean. Yesterday was a rush so I did more pairs exercises. I'm trying to do a program similar to Westside. I think I might alter it to include more agonist-antagonist circuits.

Ah alright Yea its a great way to condense training when time is a concern, or you just want to keep the heartrate going

@Fayzeh I broke out in a sweat just looking at your cardio. I'm going to work on getting mine back up to where it was a year or two ago. Elliptical for me!

Ran for 30 minutes on the treadmill. I was planning on running/upper body, but my gym surprised me and closed early. I got home and did a home routine using weights, kettle bell, and resistance bands. Looking forward to my gym session tomorrow.

Quality log going on in here. I've thought of doing a similar journal but on the other side of things i have been trying to spend less time in the gym and meal prepping in order to give more time to other parts of my life.

Thanks @solarsuplex! I started the journal around my birthday because it hit me that I'm not getting any younger! Haha In the next couple of years I hope to turn my career into one involving health (nutrition/fitness). Journal has been keeping me more focused so far.
