Just wondering what the general consensus is around here about the different movement planes and trunk safety/health.
I am looking want to replace more of my Ab work with "core" work and want to know the generally agreed do's and don'ts
E.g. I see a lot on here saying sit-ups place a lot of stress on the lumbar spine.
What about rotation movements? e.g. tree/log cutters or whatever they are called?
Finally anybody any thoughts on Turkish Get Ups?

|Woodchops are fine if you don't currently have any lumbar issues. I agree that multiple variations of planks are the way to go, along with learning abdominal bracing throughout the day and during your other exercises. -3X|
