Wendler 5-3-1 warm-ups12079

I'm curious for people who do the Wendler 5-3-1 program, what do you do for warm-ups.

I've generally done 8 minutes on the ellpitical to break a sweat and then 5 reps at 40 percent of the working max, 5 reps at 50 percent and then 3 reps at 60 percent.

I think I read this somewhere and it works OK for most things although it seems like too much volume for me to bench press effectively so I've been doing a little less warming up on the bench.

Anyway, I'm curious what others do.

I've been using the deload setup as my warmup in addition to other stuff like some pushups, elliptical, etc.

5mins on a treadmill, then rep out lightweight on the body part your doing, incline bench usually 20kg rep for 25, then stand up, quick stretch and get going! I foam roll etc at nights after the gym

I do mobility work for 20 mims then I do 1 or 2 sets of light weights then get into my working sets

I do body weight exercises to warm up. Just switched to the 5/3/1 pyramid plan from his new book. I really like it.

I do a few dynamic movements for my shoulders/hips (depending on the day) then i follow the warm up sets that the 5/3/1 mobile app suggest before going into the working sets. Seems to work pretty well so far, im always ready for the working sets.

This. I do zero warm ups. I feel like warming up wastes to much energy.
