So I don't want to be that guy who blows up the forum with a different thread everyday. So, here's my personal log. I'll be updating my workouts and progress as they come. This is for me to keep track of what I'm doing and for who ever cares to make fun of me, you're welcome to it! And, if you have any advice or constructive or negitive (I can take it) criticism, you're welcome to leave that as well...

225lbs including 5lb ankle weights, lol. I'll hopefully need more weight plates soon!

I was way to excited about get'n my cardio in, so I did my 1st crosstraing workout tonight. I'm absolutely soaked in sweat, hard to breathe for the past 10 mins, feels great! This took me 27:31 to complete, my head was pounding or it may have taken about 15 seconds less time. Here it is:

Decided to hit the weights today, went as follows:

Squats: 135lbsx10, 185x4, 205(pr)x4, 185x10, sumo squat 135x8x2
SS'd with DB lateral raises:
10x12, 15x12, 20x12x4

RDL's: 135x12x3
SS'd with standing military presses, 60x12x3

Leg curls: 45x10x3
SS's with rear delt rows, 20x12x3

Leg extensions: 45x12x3
SS'd with front dumbell raises: 20x12x2, 25x10,hammer raise: 25x10

Standing calve raises: 185x20x2
SS'd with seated bent over flys, 20x12, 15x12/15x12, 10x12

Feel pretty good about it...

Hit 205 lbs on flatbench for 1 rep max. It's the most I've ever benched Pretty stoked about that!

Hit a new PR on squats last night. It's 215lbs, I know it's weak, but hey, I got work my way up. Critique my form please...

@Thedude67 I see you are using a low bar form. Make sure you really force you knees out on those reps. When your knees buckle in you will lose all the torque in your hips thus lowering your total output.

A good way to approach the low bar is stance shoulder width, toes slightly out (the more straight forward you can get them for optimal hip torque), break at the hips first and allow you hips to hinge backwards as you "sit" into the squat maintaining your weight over the middle/heel of your feet. Once you get as deep as you can go before your tail begins to tuck drive up using your hips. During the descent and ascent make sure you are really forcing your knees out to the side. In addition, before each rep take a deep breath and push your abs out for core stability.

I just watched your sqyat video-nice!
how tall are you? you have a similar low bar start to me- I'm 5'9 so slightly too short for one setting and too tall for another haha!
I'll be using Danaimals advice too!
Yous deadlifts awesome! 225! I can only do 170 haha
Keep posting videos, it helps so I can learn from your technique- thanks!

Thanks brutha. I'm 6'3", my bar doesn't quite go high enough, lol...against all advice on this forum, next week I'm gunna do a major cut diet. Going for volume on my workouts, then the week after that I'm gunna try to hit some new pr's...should be fun

Awesome good luck! I'm really surprised your going to cut, you look quite slim- I reackon you could bulk for quite a lot longer.
Don't cut for too long then- Just do like a month then get back on the gain train!

Just finished I guess what would be an upper power workout. Pretty badass, but I feel like if I worked each muscle twice it would take forever. Anyways, here's what I did...

BB flat bench 135x10 185x2 165x6x3 (my bench has gotten weaker over the past few weeks alot!)

bent curl bar loaded with 80lbs bent over rows x8x4

lat pulldown 90lbs x8x4

cable pushdowns 50lbs x8x3

bent curl bar loaded with 70lbs curls x6x3

shoulder push press 70lbs x8x3

DB incline press 50lbs x6x3

(sitting) bent over flys 15lbsx10 20lbsx8 25lbsx6

I feel like I got a pretty good pump for sure, any suggestions on modifications to this or does it look good? Opinions invited and welcomed!!
