For someone recently injured that squat video si impressive because you didn't seem to have any areas you struggled with, a lot of people are good coming out of the hole but then have a grind or vice versa but you seemed to just get generally fatigued on the last rep. Good sign you'll make steady progress.

how much do those plates weigh?

they look much cooler then doing 45lb plates hahah.. are they heavier bumper plates ?

@the1 the large ones are 20kg each and the narrower black ones on the end are 5kg, they look cool but on squatd and deads you run out of room quickly on the bar haha

Fuck sake, went to do a heavy double on squats today with 210kg 462lbs and it wouldn't budge, considering i got a triplr with 195kg 430lbs last week i'd expected at least one. Combining this with the fact that I got 3solid sets of 5on bench with 308lbs on bench last week yet only managed a single with 330lbs this week Ithink it's time I took a deload just doing foam rolling and stretches for the rest of the week. Fairly happy though I've managed to gain 10lbs one this programme over the last 12weeks and not much of which appears to be fat, plus (by squatting 3Xweekly for 7of those weeks) I've finally gotten my squatback up to a respectable weight.

I think one more week on a cal surplus, one on maintenance and 6 weeks cutting I should have a fairly decent physique for summer. Plus I will be starting a new programme as of this sunday as well.

Cliffs: taking a deload after a very good bulk. Back up to respectable squat numbers.
Start cutting soon and a new programme as well.

Quick question for you guys, on your deload weeks do you do any HIIT? I'm itching to just do something intense such as tyre flips, rope climbs & farmers walks

Personally i think i do too much on deload week, i.e. i dont break my pattern still working out 6of8days.
I think u are ment to taper it down though to like 3-4workouts in the week.

Well, although it is a deload week I wasn't happy with my 1RM bench last week so tried again this week and I finally got 160kg 352lbs on Bench Press So fucking happy! Haha
