I'm in the first category...but after non stop dumbbell work lately my arms are finally starting to catch up. First option looks better shirtless anyway, unless you're talking stick arms.

Seeing as I'm in that first category and can't get my arms to grow for shit, I'd take the second. But at the same time it's just my chest that's huge, my shoulders and lats are not as proportionate.

Im in the second. I can't complain because arms grew huge but it is discouraging at times.

Dude I hear ya. I was that way for the longest time and to this day my biceps are small, but my tris make up for it. Bodybuilding is just a constant struggle against yourself, just gotta keep fighting.

Option 1. That's gonna make you look bigger shirt on or shirt off!
That being said, big arms are just a bonus! I want big arms...

I find arms is all about high volume, maximum pump

I've just recently started doing higher volume for arms, I believe they have grown a little but not having any way to measure them I cannot be completely sure. Been going a lot of slow, controlled preachers, hammers, and i've just recently started doing cable curls as well. My tris are almost impossible for me to grow. Every powerlifter I know has huge tris due to the way we bench, but @Duke and I seem to be the exception to this! Lot's of pushdowns, dips, and skullcrushers for my little triguys!
