I didn't want to go through all the Logs for the 6 people posting them on here... Any of you incorporate some dedicated time to abs on this split?

I'm debating on a few options...

1) Taking out 1 calf workout session and replacing with abs
2) Adding additional day with Abs, Forearms, Foam Rolling/Cardio
3) Adding it on to end of a routine and changing nothing.

Yes I know my core will be hit during all compound lifts...


What have you guys done?

I typically do it during the day since i dont want to take time after workouts to throw them in. But 1-2 times a week. When i would do them at nights it was after cardio on wednesday.

I do them twice weekly after legs. Generally my lower back is pretty tight after a good leg day, so weighted ab movements stretch out my lumbar region pretty well. -3X

What do you guys do? I was thinking Weighted Decline, Rope/Cable pull down then maybe a BW like Washers or Flutter Kicks

@Eknight So you are pretty much on the same regime of 2 day, Rest, 3 Day, Rest? With Abs attached to end of Leg

Yes. I do 4 sets of cable crunches, 4 sets of ball crunches with a plate, and throw in woodchops occasionally. -3X

Yes. I use Jefit, which has a stop watch feature that keeps my rest times at 1 minute. -3X
