|My max bench is 230, I rep 135 for warmups.
Now i've been sick for the past 3-4 days, with what seems like a cold. Today I was feeling better and went back to the gym.
I did my 135s as a warmup, but instead on the 8th rep I failed and couldn't get the weight up anymore. I had to cut down 10 pounds on each side to finish benching.
This hasn't happened to me ever before and I would like to know why this happened. Also how long do you recommend I rest until I should go full weights again?

|Strange.. You can gym as long as you don't have a fever. But maybe it's time for a one week lightweight deload - give your CNS a rest, and it will also give your body time to clear the cold^^|
