Haha, I think Nor knows my stance on straps!
I refuse to use them for deadlift.
I do find them useful for rows though since your grip generally goes first!

Sumo Felt much better for me. I could feel it 20x more in my glutes and Hams than Conventional Deadlifting where I felt most of it in my back. But Play with it, or use both. theres nothing that says you have to do it one specific way.

I def Prefer Romans over Straight Leg Deads

I'm not a power Lifter, and my grip isn't the best, and I dont' want to do deads with a mixed grip!. So I personally use straps for heavy deads and rows, but thats it. and I can't do a hook grip! lol.

Those leg days look decent too!

@Dukenhiemer My grip has been my biggest enemy lately, I try not to use straps, but eventually when the weight goes up I cant get past like 5 reps without the bar slipping.

But I suppose if I am only doing 3 reps I should be good.

How often should I take a deload?

Yes, one day squat and one day dead.
On squat day I focus on quads and dead day I focus on hams!

I feel deloads are on an individual basis. But i've seen ppl do them every 5 cycles or so on a push/pull/leg routine.

To be honest, I didn't Deload for months and I kept getting stronger.
I burnt out when I started school and had to take two weeks off of deadlift. Came back stronger than ever!
I would recommend a Deload week every four to six weeks!
Now, just to get my bench back up...

Yeah Matt Ogus rates after every 8 cycles, which for me would mean every 4 weeks.

But thanks for all the info man, much appreciated. Any tips on form?? Like how to position hips on starting position and top of the lift?

I have my toes pointed at roughly 11 and 1 o'clock.

In the lowest position I have my shins verticle, and in line with the smooth rings halfway through the ruff if that makes sense

Ill try record my deadlift tomorrow then post it up and you guys can give me some pointers.

I already have BIG legs so dont care too much about getting them bigger now, but would love to deadlift my car

Haha, I really should... I don't belt up till I dead more than 405 or squat more than 315. That's the only core work I get!
