Agreed with muller. Esp if you do PHAT. your traps kill the next day. and then to rest 200kg on them. its not the most comfortable thing to do. use the pad. get the weight up

Yeah man, It just helps keep steady, the smooth metal against polyester tends to slide, and the thin bar doesnt sit nicely on by shoulders.

Id just rather not risk it with 200kg above me you know.

I would chime in about the pad but my squat is only at 365 right now so I think I'll keep my mouth shut. lol

I know . Its not like I cant do it without the pads, I just rather play on the safe side. If I get an injury now it could cost me the competition.
