So I am bulking on strong lifts. Can I do anything on off days? I don't have access to a treadmill or bike or anything. Can I do some body weight exercises or anything?

Errands, laundry, meal prep, hang with girl, etc.

You could toss in some "bodybuilding" days between the 5x5 sets on things that don't get much attention on the program.

Abs
Calfs
Forearms
Traps
Rear delts
Hamstrings as long as you won't be deadlifting the day before or after

If you decide to do cardio, make sure you are eating extra to compensate for the burned calories

@SOLARSUPLEX So is this in accordance to the idea that those smaller muscle groups take less time to recover? I always thought that that was broscience. How much can we train those smaller muscle groups while still avoiding overtraining?

so since like i missed bent over rows yesterday because i feel and hurt my back this last weekend and it was still sore, it feels better today, could i just do the 5x5 bent rows today?

@GetBigDieMirin I'm not qualified to answer your question with any degree of accuracy.

I'm just saying to do those accessory ares because they are not very hard by the compounds of 5x5.

You could argue that they are, however being a beginner level program, I highly doubt that somebody is squatting enough weight to effectively work their abs, calfs, etc.
