Ramp up sets for big moves. 40%, 50%, 60% then working sets. Usually gets the blood flowing for whatever accessory work follows.

Never use static stretching before lifting. If you're familiar with dynamic stretching, that's an option. Otherwise, stretching cold muscles is not advised. -3X

Just stretch after I was always told. Should I just do arm circles, jumping jacks just to get blood going? Then just warm up working to the working sets?

@max12480 I warm up different for and upper session than i do for a lower personally.
More band pull aparts and facepulls and internal externall rotations on upper body.
Then i work ankle mobility, glute activation drills and hip circle walks on lower body days.

I usually look up videos on youtube with multiple stretches and pick the ones that hit the muscles best.

I think it's an individual thing.
