Your weakpoint & whatcha doing about it?16828

I think everyone has a weakpoint in their training whether its a body part you want to work on more. Or it could be an exercises that you want to improve on by getting the technique right! I am curious to see what you are doing to work on weaknesses, basically what your plan is to succeed in overcoming them.

I'll start. Weakness = My lower back.
I've just learned to brace it when I started lifting. Its also why I have deadlift in my program. I try not to sit around too much and make sure my posture isn't slumpy.
In a while I'll get my trainer to teach me good mornings but they look scarey as hell atm unless I get the technique perfectly and avoid injury.

My weakpoint is FOOD. Unfortunately, I'm not doing enough about it. I like to eat too much.

@wannabemuscular yea I think if i didn't track my kcal i would have a problem too. like some days i log onto myfitnesspal and i'll be 'what? i have 300kcal to go and i havent eat dinner yet' ..lol.

For me I discovered the good thing about making my own treats and most meals is i know exactly what i am putting in my mouth, and i can track it more accurately.

@TimmothyGen work on one thing at a time

@WinnersNeverQuit well thats awesome! unlearning bad habits can be such a tricky thing to do but totally worth it if you want to level it up.

I usually judgr my weaknesses by my physique, so when I start a new bulk I try to add in more volume and maybe an extra exercise per week of what I think needs the most work.

I think my legs have been better in the past when I've mixed really intense 6x10 squats with higher weight sessions in the same week, which I didn't do this last bulk, so I'm going to try implementing that again.

weak points:
-structuring diet according to hormones
-nutrient timing with hormones
-correctly utilizing hormones in sync with other hormones
- dieting down into single digit body fat levels.

fix:
- just hired a coach for the next six months, will be optimizing all aspects of diet, training, hormones, etc.
- consistently prepping meals and tracking everything that goes into my body.

Traps, glutes & triceps.

Farmers walks, glute activation drills & Volume are my solutions.
