I always forget to train abs? I think I'm just not meant to ever have an actual six pack.

I was about to make a new thread asking about this. My cutting conditioning now is considered very good. The abs I got was from purely powerlifting. They are quite "chiselled" but can definitely improve. I want them to pop out, possibly want physique competitor status.
Therefore I humbly request more post from you guys.
Also calling in @eknight too. Started implementing cable crunches, weighted side bends, etc.

Thanks for your answers! I've been looking up ab excercises. Here's a link to one that seems exciting to try.

Can anyone post the Russian twist they prefer doing. I've seen them done a million ways, fast, slow, weights, no weights. Is there a wrong way to do them?

Not now, but you might get it, and trust me, you do not want to end up with a disc herniation.
According to my sports physiotherapist (20 years experience) sit-ups are a very common cause to low back disc herniations, so it's a really unnecessary risk you're taking.

Ok people. I'm paying very close attention to this thread. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
@Fayzeh apologies if I give you the impression I am hijacking the thread which I don't intend to cos starting a new thread on ab progress is not convenient.
I have started implementing direct ab work. Week 2 vs week 4, mid week 3 started ab work. Same lighting same time. Seems legit. Any thoughts as to how I can improve this?

@darklight79 No apologies needed! Happy you're making this thread more serious cuz I seriously want to improve my abs. Keep it up. You're motivating me. Thank you!

Appreciated and honored. But also would like feedback on what I can improve on and yes I've noted the list of exercises posted but at a loss to which to prioritize. I'm a novice in ab work here. Haha.

If you have a good crunch machine at your gym or one of these then i recommend that you use that as your "main" or only dynamic rectus abdominus exercise since it's alot easier compared to free weight crunches, i personally hate having to hold on to all the weights when doing free crunches :P
And when it comes to volume 6-8 sets/40-60 reps twice a week is enough, i recommend some isometric training as well, like planks or the ab wheel.
