|This article was originally brought to my attention by a weightlifting coach.
I thought a lot of people here would find it useful/ insightful give the number of people competing in powerlifting. The article is Oympic lifting specific but given the carry over between oly lifting and powerlifting, i think it is relevant. Powerlifting classes are also different from weightlifting classes but you could probably work out a median weight/ height ratio.
Would also like to shout out breaking muscle as it's a fantastic website. if you don't know of it, now you do.
Reading it over makes me realise I need to stop holding back and eat. I'm 176 cm tall but only weigh 66 kg!
