You guys care to give me some feedback on what variation of deads you like to pull from and why. Pros and cons of semi sumo, sumo, and conventional

Sumo less pressure on my lower back.

This.
The fact I have rather short arms means conventionals end up very ugly when the weight gets near max load.

IMO inregards to which way to pull its a 'pick your poison' scenario.

Conv= More stress on the lower back + easier for form to slip (for me anyways)

Sumo= The groin area and hips get sore as hell at first

Semi sumo= never heard of it

@the1 Just out of curiosity, but when your cutting down for a show.Do you tend to do rack pulls more often than pulling from the floor?

Rack pulls are fun.
Other than that...snatch-grip deadlifts are really fun accessory along with deficit deadlifts.

I liek conv. I can't pull heavy with sumo. Also my adductors get crazy strech while doing sumo, wich is uncomfortable.

Sumo. Even on light weight any form slip on conventional ruins my lower back. Sumo is just a cleaner lift in my opinion. Generally speaking, you either clear the floor or you don't.

I prefer romanian deadlifts since they hit hams harder and are easier on the CNS.

Love conventionals for the feeling of unbridled bad-assery

@eknight Do you happen to have any good videos of that? And thanks the rest of you guys. I wanna start pulling heavy again, but kinda afraid to hurt my lower back again. Thinking about giving sumo a shot, conventional just looks so badass
