rep ranges for calisthenics?15818

So what's the. ideal rep range for clisthenics if strength/a little more endurance are my goal? I've been reading a lot of stuff over at kavadlo.com and he has a 5x5 routine but i was wondering if a 6-8 rep range with 5 sets would be better for my goals? And one more question ,what should rest times look like for a beginner?
