First post here we go excuse me if there's already a thread addressing this but I couldn't find it.

What would you say is the ideal number of sets per bodypart per week for an intermediate lifter, I think that's me 6 years lifting only 3 have been constructive

The guy over at "" has a good article on this.
From the meta-analysis i've read that's pretty accurate and that's the volume most proven routines uses.
One can't only look at the volume though, there's also failure, frequency, intensity and so on.
