You will do fine brother. I had an amazing day when I did my comp. A ton of fun and learned a lot. Be open for peoples suggestions there as you might get some good info

Chocolate shoulders strike again.

Was deadlifting 147.5kg 5x2 and my what ever connects your lat and Tricep to your shouler pulled. I couldn't even take the 20 kg plates of the bar.

Plan of action is recover and work of strengthening it back up while doing more squat volume. Have a test to see where I am with deadlifts nand bench a few days before the comp, nothing to taxing then go into the competition and do my best. It won't be PR's on deadlift or bench but all I can is show up and lift

It's been over 24 hours since I injured myself. Not as bad as I thought thank fuck, looks like it's a pulled muscle and nothing it torn. I still won't be hitting new numbers in my competition but ill do better than what I thought

You may surprise yourself. Don't count yourself out yet. I couldn't bench for a month. Had 4 weeks of bench training and only 1 heavy workout. At my meet I hit a 10lb pr. Less is more most of
The time. Just don't train dead lifts til your meet then go ham

Doesn't hurt in general anymore and mobility is back to normal. I won't risk deadlifts or bench until Monday
