Sure, but once a week is enough since you should be incorporating various exercises to hit all three heads of the deltoid.

Ofcourse, the volume and how far you take each set has to be adjusted for a higher frequency thought.
Also take in to account that shoulder presses hits the laterals to a certain degree.
Btw, how does the whole program look?

it is a push pull leg routine. I always wanted to have huge side delts compared to the rest of my body so that is why I want to do lateral raises on leg day as well.

Increased frequency doesn't mean they'll grow more. Muscle protein synthesis is the real rate-limiting factor for growth. Doing an extra day isn't going to increase that, but it may deter full recovery. -3X

We all know that already. Care to explain how it factors in to the discussion? -3X

How do you run it? I hit my lateral heads 3 times each cycle in my previous p/p/l without any problems and i did it like this ->

D1 - Pull
D2 - Push (3 sets db ohp + 3x10 + 1x13-15 cable lateral raise)
D3
D4 - Legs
D5 - Pull (finished the workout with 2x12 db lateral raise)
D6
D7 - Push (same as on day 2)
D8 - Legs
D9

True, my apologies. I just think that with consideration to recovery and perhaps even other upper body movements on days before or after the shoulder workout--it would be optimal to give at least two or three days in between.

^^agreed. When you have a good nugget of info, don't just drop it and run, lol. We all learn from this process so feel free to expand like you just did. -3X
