4 day split?15677

I've been on a 3 day split,(push, pull, legs&shoulders) I Wana go to (push, pull, shoulders, then legs) do y'all think this in frequent enough if I have enough volume? I think training legs and shoulders the same day aren't doing me justice and I could get more volume out of a 4 day split. Thanks

I personally don't think you need an entire day for shoulders or chest, so I would switch it to doing all pressing on one day, shoulders included, and all pulling on one day, including shoulders. That keeps you at 3 days, and allows more time for legs. Or back and shoulders, chest and arms, and legs separate. Just my opinion, I like more frequency.

If you're splitting it into 4 days you can just do-
Push, Pull, Legs, Push
Pull, Legs, Push, Pull
Legs, Push, Pull, Legs

So (chest/tri, back/bi, legs, shoulders/traps) is a no go?

Why on earth do you feel like you need to train shoulders on their own? -3X

I just thought that me doing legs first may be taking away from my shoulder workout, I'm thinking of just stacking my shoulders with chest and triceps so it'll be chest/tri/shoulder

This is how I ran PPL. Definitely a good idea to leave legs to their own day.

What's your current workouts look like? I'm gonna throw a guess at you've probably got 3/4 chest exercises on push day, and atleast two exercises targeting the front delt for shoulder day?
