Anybody have any experience with lifting heavy on both. Low bar feels like I can do more weight, but puts my shoulders in an awkward position

Exactly. Most guys can do more with low bar, but it does put the shoulders in an awkward position. Lately I can't even get into the position.

Check this video out:

I love to squat, but only
If it's low bar, "oly squat" feels super weak and not more comfortable than low bar at all.

I squatted high bar for years, then one day a few months ago I accidentally slid into low bar while setting up, just like in that video. Boom, it was an epiphany. Been doing low bar ever since, just felt way better lifting heavy for me. Not that it matters, but high bar looks more aesthetically pleasing imo.

Yeah high bar does look alot more cool, but I'd rather be squatting some heavy ass weight looking all weird lol. Never though about taking the pressure off the wrist either lol

I prefer a hybrid between low and high bar, can't do low bar thanks to a herniated disk.
Funny thing is that i can manage as much weight in the hybrid as the low bar.
