Iv been lurking on the forums for a while now and want to start making a workout log but I always have issues picking out a workout program to follow and was curious if anyone could help push me in the right direction program wise.
Goals - gain strength and muscle before college
Experience - a year started at 135lb
Height - 5'8"
Weight - 155lb
Age - 17 (turn 18 on the 22)
Bench - 185lb
Deadlift - 300lb
Squat - 240 lb
I have read the FAQs but am not sure what you would consider me experience wise. Thanks for any help!

If these numbers are with good form it's good a for a noobie. What routine did you do for your first year of lifting?

If I was you, I would take a look to different kind of 5x5 strenght routine or maybe PHAT.

@MMB I followed an upper lower split when I first started then push pull legs. I always just kinda winged it each day and made my own program. What 5x5 would you recommend? Any 4 day a week?

Nope, haven't tried PHUL, others may have though.
I HAVE tried 5/3/1 though, great and fun routine. There's plenty of starter templates out there for excel so you can no brain most of your workouts if you print out a recent sheet detailing your weight/reps of the previous workout.
