When to train to Failure15003

Hey all,

Just curious as to when training to failure is optimal & how can it be effectively implemented? I'm currently doing PPL & on a cut, 2 of my buddies swear by training to failure every set & lifting 7 days a week. I know that's not a smart way to train nor is it optimal. But when is it OK to train to failure?

There ya go champ, I personally don't like the mehod. Also lifting 7 days a week is nowhere near optimal lol

Cliff Notes:
Isolation movements in the higher rep ranges
Make your Failure sets your last
Should be used to gauge progress and strength
Can be counterproductive if used incorrectly
Should not be used on consecutive days
Don't use failure for Sheiko
