Yesterday's squats were killer. Huge volume for me.

I think I lean forward a little too much on low bar squats, gonna try to focus on driving knees out on the way down to stay more upright next time.




Nothing spectacular today, the 20 rep delt raises do burn though...

Bruised my thigh pretty badly yesterday, can't bend at the knee more than 90 degrees... damn football again. So I won't be doing any squatting the next few days.

Also going on holiday for about a week, so I'll figure out what to do with the routine and such... maybe start the cycle over again when I get back.

Back in the gym! Still in France until Thursday, but I managed to hog the only squat rack fine today.

Oly squats are still tough, but think I've found the right position to place the bar now at least. Just got to get the form down, the weight is not what's limiting me yet.

My bruised thigh was still a little sore today, but warmed it up before and it was no big issue... Joints ached for the first few sets, this injury messed with my mobility it seems.

@FiremanSi Thanks. Wouldn't consider it a weakness day, just some extra back volume in the low intensity phase, 2nd and 3rd phase don't have this day.

This sessions was too painful to complete. It seems in my last squat session I worked up an old football injury where I strained something in my groin. I tried my best to warm it up and went easy on the first sets, but it didn't get much better, and I didn't want to make it worse, so I cut the workout short... I put some ice on it and massaged it around the painful area... but maybe I should get it checked?

Big deadlift volume, not used to such high reps. Lower back was burning. Still have pain when squatting, so I didn't do the front squats today.
