It's great. Big fan of the concepts, especially the idea of gaining momentum from month to month and having a single max effort set for each compound lift each workout. Definitely read the PDF.

well, on the benchpress day i do tons of tricep work, & incline benchpress with db:s etc. and on deadlift day tons of rowing movements. what would u exactly suggest for accessory movements? i havent gotten yet to squat day.

I recommend don't burn yourself out on accessory movements and don't stress about accessory movements either.

Keep the main thing the main thing.

I love 5-3-1 but the more I think about it, I realize that when you're doing 5-3-1 it's pretty simple and you shouldn't be spending hours in the gym.

Get in, get it done, get out.

Plan the work and work the plan.

And yes, I do love sports cliches.
