Hey guys,

Im never sore in the chest and i cant even do a pushup after i finish punishing it. Whats wrong? heres my chest exercises.

Incline Dumbell chest press - 5 x8
Incline Flies - 5 x 8
Cable flies - 5 x 8
Terminater set - max reps in 1 min for chest press ( machine) then max pushups in 1 mins. - 4 sets

Enough?

Your chest routine involves two sets of flies but does not involve flat bench press or flat db press? It doesn't matter so much b/c bench is a lot of triceps so this change may not fix your problem but c'mon man. Gotta have a routine that involves flat bench. Explain.

What is your height/weight/1RM?

I have some ideas on how to help but answer the above questions first.

u need 1 flat press
1 incline press
u can do either dips r decline if u want
n 1 r 2 fly movements

Yeah i know - my bad haha

Height - 184cm
Weight - 84kg

1rm - 110kg ( 6 months ago)

More information needed - are you pushing to failure? On how many sets? and how about the other sets - what % of 1rm?

If you are not sore then you are not training hard enough.

Do you always do 8 reps? You need some variety - maybe flat bench do 3 sets of 3-5 reps, then drop sets, finishing with say 20 reps on light weight. Drop one of the flyers and add in flat barbell bench.

I always have to drop the weight after the first 2 sets, then i do a drop set for a 4th set ( started that last week), I am thinking of changing my chest workout to this;

Incline Chest press - 3 sets x 8-10 reps ( plus 1 drop set, 34kg, 26kg, 20kg 15kg)

Flat Bench press or Dumbell chest press - 3 sets - 12 reps

Cable Flies 3 sets - 8 reps

4 terminater sets

Better?

Not sure what my 1rm is for anything is really. Ill find out in the new year then set goals.

uhh..... my favorite chest workours are..... incline dumbell press...which will rip u up...go for 6 to 8 reps a set... focus on form..i like flat dumbell press heavy....cable crossovers...focus on form...increase weight...no pain... no gain
