im on the second week of my cut now and i was just wondering, is it possible to get my 16-17% body fat down to a 10% without ANY cardio at all? right now i dont do ANY cardio at all, i just go into the gym, train 4 days a week and just drive back home, i don't even spend a single second on cardio. I'm currently on 2700 calories a day (cutting slowly) and i'm afraid that without cardio i'll eventually plateau or something, is this true?

Short answer: yes. Lifting weights alone will get you down to 10% BF (why focus on the numbers anyway?), as long as your diet is in check -- calorie deficit.

Typical cardio work is normally done if you need help hitting your calorie deficit.

Do what you gotta do to get it done. It's just tipping the scales in your favor.

I like food, so I eat. I also like working out, so I workout. Still hitting my calorie deficit, and still losing weight.

What ajones said is definitely true however, as bodybuilders it's not just our muscles we are looking after it's our body.

Even if it's only 30 minutes cardio is very important for overall health especially in the heart. I mean what's the point of being aesthetic when your heart is shit and you can hardly run? Just my opinion

Aziz also didn't do cardio and look what happened to him...just saiyan!! lulz

but srs I really don't do much cardio but I do full court basketball once a week and 20 min HIIT bike about twice a week

I didnt do cardio for the first 4-5 weeks... plateaud... dropped cals a bit... no loss after 2nd week.
In came cardio... WHY... cause i wanna eat 3000cals per day and still loose weight.

If u dont want to do cardio no problem.. keep lowering cals. If ur cutting for a long time... ur cals will eventually get low enough u are finding urself hungry more and more often.... up the cals in comes CARDIO.
