i have one more question ,
will it be good to do barbel bench press on power day and dumbbell on hyo day ?
i hater to do dumbbell on power day it is hard to increase weight with that ?

For myself personally, I prefer BB over DB anyday. But I train for strength, not really interested in aesthetics.
If you want a mix of both, then go for it.
I believe I did the same thing when I ran PHAT a while back.

PHAT was designed by a pro and he states that you should tweak it according to what you prefer and what works better for you. I do barbell bench presses instead of the dumbbell press (I'm sure most people do this as well). Mix it up, you don't have to follow it exactly

Personally (and this is just me) on power days I'd go with Barbell as it is far easier to go up in increments as 5lbs in each can be a large jump and potentially make you fall short of the rep goal. Just me though, plus I far prefer Barbell over Dumbell any day

Replace hammer strength chest press with flat dumbbell chest press 12-15 reprange. Whatever chest exercise you do its targeted. You might actually experience better gains because i found with hammer strength my front delts get a big pump and triceps to as opposed to dumbbell.


For my chest hypertrophy day i do

Hammer strength incline chest press for 3 sets 8-12.


Seated hammer strength 12-15


And flat bench hammer strength 15-20 rep range.

I modified it to set my needs. u should do the same.

I do 3 sets for all as opposed to 2 sets for the last 2 exercises just because i feel that dumbbells are better than machines so i add the extra sets to compensate.(just my opinon)


No hammer strength?replace with dumbbells. Simple
