Box squat can be used to help with you're form and assist in building the correct motor neuron patterns for ur muscles (so the muscles automatically remember how to move properly with correct form)
Because you are training for good form it's probably best you do them on hypertrophy with with the speed work.
You could also do it on strength days but as you struggle or get fatigues your form tends to break down already, not really doing much to help train those patterns.
