I has a question 10v13 NorIda 22 3 yearsFiremanSi (42408): @NorIda Defo dont lift enough for it but i got a Single prong 13mm Inzer... Break in was worse when i was wearing it too low. I got prong because i wear it diff heights on squats and deads.. single prong because alot of people with double prong complained about them being annoying to take on and off. It's great, have a shitty 10mm lever also.. like the ease of use with lever but dont like the lack of vesatility.

Inzerbelt.. SRorhrbac0808 10 5 yearswannabemuscular (33216): Key words right up there "top level lifters". None of us here are top level lifters nor have the mass/bodyweight to justify the need for a 13mm belt. Maybe just my opinion, but whatever. Before I bought my belt I researched and found 10mm would be fine for me. Even still I barely use my belt now.

Inzer Belts KnifeHands 7 6 yearsSwift (1411): Basically the belt is there so u breathe into it and force your stomach against it to get that pressure even tighter. No point just putting the belt on tight cos its not really going to give you much support that way
Do you really need a lifting belt? brian12 4 6 yearsSwift (1411): I dunno about this article, in that a belt takes away from your core. I guess it comes down to how it's used. I find that by having it real right already and then breathing hard into it, it forces my core to tense itself more! So I don't think it takes it away from my core at all! But in saying that, a lot of people just put it on over their lower back in the hope it will just hold everything in place...this will take away from your core.

just ordered WaxyLizard 15 7 yearsShadow (448): When I first started I had a belt/straps and all that shit for my deadlift/squat days... Now I realise that it is totally unnecessary as a bodybuilder working in a 8-12 rep range. Only time you will need a belt is if you're hitting low reps (1-4) doing power shit. You're much better off working raw anyways since the goal of a bodybuilder is to maximize muscle growth (not simply move the most weight from A to B) which is better achieved without...
