age, bulking, cutting zbornaja 3 6 yearsDamon1962 (529): For me, strength peaked at age 34 (BP 405 @ 188 lbs), decent bulk ended at age 38. From there on I was getting a little bit heavier and a little bit weaker each year. At 44 I weighed 212 and benched 385, at 48- 218 and 335. So at 50 I cut to 170 and bench 275. My plan is to cut back 5-10 pounds every 10 years, health over performance but still stay as intense as my heart will allow.

I ended up in a very old school gym(think 1972, probably has not been dusted or cleaned since then) where the owner, now in his 70s, had competed on a national level.
