That being said the lack of progressive overload, individualized programming or any programming at all will eventually result in stalled gains. That is why the best crossfitters rarely do wods. They improve upon there lifts and techniques until they master them and then keep progressing with more weight.

Barbell bounced off of a stack of plates and separated his vertebrae; freak accident. For most (your average) Crossfitters, their goal is to become fit, not have a 700 lb deadlift. CrossFit has different goals than general body building and visa versa. Also, Games Athletes do not do typical CrossFit programming, if you were curious. Just comes down to what your goals are.

Think about it like this curl = yells, skull crushers with 20 kg on the bar and a spotter helps him = yells, half squatting 15 kg on each side = he yells, side raises with 7 kg = he yells and if he is even touching the bar = yells. Though seems like a nice guy and most of the guys there seems to like him, but damn it gets annoying...
