Any idea how to improve mind-muscle connection? Is there somekind of magic supplement / food maybe that can help / assists mind to make muscle work harder? Maybe any1 has heard of such? I’ve heard there were studies that shown mind-muscle connection is no joke. Wondering what would be that mind-muscle dependant of.. caffeine, preworkout, any idea, would be a shame to miss mind-muscle connection at its maximum mind potential. Who could have known that even a mind can actually contribute to muscle growth on its own...

Fish Oil has been shown to improve brain functionality, mainly because fat is important for your endocrine system and brain.

That being said, I believe the mind muscle connection is more so just taking your time, controlling your reps, and focusing on what you're doing. It's not magic, it's common sense.

Imo Mind-muscle connection is pretty overrated. If you're performing your compound movements correctly, doing your accessory work, eating in a caloric surplus, you're going to get stronger/ progress and you're going to see good results. Don't worry about some magic supplement or magic food that's going to make your "mind-muscle connection better". Worry about getting stronger while others are spinning their wheels focusing on things like mind-muscle connection and getting a better pump at the gym.

@Jsn3004 pretty much said it all. But to add one thing.... I think the so-called "Mind Muscle Connection" is all about repetition - repetition that carves out neural pathways.

@Cannonball's insane bench press achievements are an example of the result from lots and lots of bench press specific training.

This is known as the SAID principle...

The mind muscle connection in my opinion just becomes perfected over time by building up awareness of how to recruit and feel the specific muscles.

You should try to switch things up and induce muscle confusion, that means changing exercises

You can’t confuse a muscle. In fact, recruiting maximal muscle fibers requires athletes to practice movement patterns for at least 6 weeks. Trying to “confuse” your muscles by changing your routine too frequently will only sabotage growth. -3X

Muscle confusion only works when you're on Keto.
