Hi everyone!I am new to this forum.I came through the forum googling![]() I feel terrible as I have gained 11 pounds in a month and half ![]() I was on vacation and screwed up my diet! I was good for the first week but then I just did not watch and control my eating....pastries,rice,bread,noodles ![]() My clothes are tight already and needless to say I feel terrible! Please give me some genuine advice on how/what to do to loose 15 pounds......I am Willing to work hard for it! I just don't feel good at all ![]() I am a 43 years old,5ft3 inches female. Thanks.... |

@Angelica I'd start by working on self control. Avoid high caloric foods from ur diet for now and when u get a control of ur intake u then start incoporting them when understand how much food is too much daily. Next would be assessing ur daily intake currently. And reduce it by 200cals to attain a deficit.. Then weigh urself a couple of times a week until the weight loss stops. Then ur options are increase ur NEAT or increase the deficit through reduction of food intake. |

Got it,thanks! So is it possible for a 43 year old to loose weight?I hear things like losing weight once one hits 40 is not possible ![]() Am so frustrated and of course it's all my fault with my uncontrolled eating! |

Losing weight at any age is possible. Step 1: Find your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE), there are many formulas to help with this. Again, see the FAQ thread for help. Step 2: Eat in a caloric deficit. Step 3: lose fat Note: increasing NEAT will help and keep you from needing to drop your daily caloric intake to levels that may not be sustainable for long term fat loss. |

When eating in a calorie deficit, many people find it easier when they eat several small meals during the day. I also recommend bulking your meals up with plenty of veggies/salad. Try to keep your protein and fats higher and you carbs lower as this will ensure you feel fuller for longer. You might find this helpful too: https://blog.dukesgym.com.au/blog/portion-sizes-are-you-eating-enough/ Try to include some exercise too as this means you will be able to lose weight while eating more food. What are you trying right now to lose weight? Are you interested in trying weight loss supplements? For me, https://supplementous.com/ had a great impact so far. I have stopped using other weight loss supplements and i am staying with these supplements for now. | ||
